We've made the initial Ministerial Exposé assignment that Archie gives you after the tutorial more linear.We’re making changes to help clarify what murderboard choices actually matter, and you should feel like you have more understanding of and agency over the trial itself.

Our overall aim with this update is to reduce the cognitive overhead involved in crafting murder-related stories. (To see the changes you’ll need to start a new save game, so please don’t worry if you’re continuing a save and don’t see anything different.)

I really hope that the save system is improved significantly so hopefully the Devs find this feedback useful.Welcome to Laburnum, also known as the wholesome-sounding murdercrafting update. If I am unable to save quickly before quitting then I quite honestly simply will not be able to play it as I don't find it fun to repeat the same dialogues again and again simply because the game won't allow me to save before quitting. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time so I may need to quit at short notice. For example Tron Identity saves after every dialogue line so why don't more games do this? I played a bit of this game at WASD and enjoyed what I played and was looking forward to playing it. If developers want to avoid save scumming then why not save the game when a player quits? This should be possible and a few other games do this. This is becoming a huge issue as more and more modern games don't include manual saves or save automatically before quitting. Likewise the fact that you cannot manually save or save automatically when you quit the game has completely put me off playing this game.
